The neck is a crucial element of the saxophone for tone production and plays a great role in the overall response of the instrument.

Carbon Fibre

Forestone introduces the world's first carbon fibre neck for tenor and alto saxophone, made especially for the Forestone saxophones.

We have discovered the Forestone Carbon Neck enhances response and articulation due to the strength of the material and the freedom to erase any imperfection in the inner shape of the neck.

The Forestone Carbon Fibre neck really sings. This is the freest blowing neck you will ever play with almost no resistance at all. This enhances response and articulation. It is immediately possible to hear a huge improvement in the altissimo register of the horn and a lush quality of sound in the low to mid overtone series.

The necks come with two screw on tenons that will suit most saxophones. Having a screw on tenon also allows for a custom tenon to be fabricated if you saxophone requires it.

Tenon Diametre
Alto: 24,45 mm and 24,50 mm
Tenor: 27,45 mm and 27,50 mm
